Hi. I need suggestions as to how I clean a sticky spacebar on a Dell Studio laptop, bearing in mind, removing the keys would mean calling an engineer out to replace the keyboard, yet again. Can anyone recommend any cleaning fluids, gels, alcohol, wipes, swabs Etc, which would get right down in between the keys? The spacebar seems to be sticking somewhere along the middle on the under side, but there's all manner of obstacles in the way where I need to get to to get the sticky off.

Jen.

use a spray that is spacifically for cleaning PDAS and mobile phones, douse the spacebar, then wait. i soaked a moble in this stuff and it did it no harm at all, came up a treat.

Hmmm! Well, I've found those sprays aren't very good at getting rid of the sticky somethings under the keys myself, so I've ordered one of those cleaning kits. I also have a handy pair of tweezers, part of a manicure set which I could use to get a wipe in to the areas where the sticky something is, plus the alcohol and swabs which come in this kit, but cheers for the tip anyway.
